Our Love Story
About the Bride
Sarah was raised in Franklin, MA and has grown up in the area. She attended Bryant University for her undergraduate studies completing her Bachelor's of Science in Marketing and Management. One year after graduating from Bryant, Sarah purchased her first home right near her home town in Bellingham. She met BJ largely because of her house buying decision. Sarah recently graduated with her MBA from Bentley and currently works near her hometown at School Family Media in Wrentham. In her spare time she enjoys doing freelance graphic design and jewelry design projects, running, and spending time at home with BJ, Daisy (her beagle), Tex (his dachshund), and Iris (the kitty).
About the Groom:
Although he pretends to be 100% Texan, secretly BJ has allowed a little bit of Massachusetts to rub off on him since arriving in 2001.
2012 was significant for him as it marked the year he successfully transitioned into a new career as a software developer after more
than a decade in restaurant operations. His free time is dedicated to finishing that list of stuff Sarah gave him to do and cooking dinner.
How we met and fell in love
Her Version
BJ and I met in the Natick Mall food court. I was applying for a part time job at Finale which was perfect for after my 9-5. On my second interview, I walked up to the table and saw BJ for the first time. I fell in love with his smile instantly and decided he could be a keeper when he offered me a contraband cookie. After some faulty math and months of spending endless hours together, I knew he was the one for me. Almost five years and thousands of frequent flyer miles later, we are pledging our love for one another on an extremely special date.
His Version
The first time I met Sarah was when she told me she had met me before. And then I gave her a cookie.

The funny thing is that since that fateful day in the Food Court, we routinely say the same thing at the same time, know exactly what the other one is thinking, and enjoy many of the same things (food). It's like I met a cuter version of myself! I'm extremely privileged to have such a close friend to spend the rest of my life with.

Guest Information
The ceremony and reception will be held on separate dates and in different locations. We welcome you to join us for both or whichever you can attend. After the ceremony we will be leaving to enjoy our honeymoon but would love to see you at the reception.
Ceremony
The ceremony will be held on August 26, 2012, a very special date. Not only was it Sarah's grandparents anniversary who were happily married for over 50 years, it was her Auntie Jerry's birthday. We selected this date to honor and cherish all the love and happiness that surround it.
The ceremony will take place in the Boston Public Garden, northern entrance at 3pm. (view map- linked to the Boston Public Garden pdf with the location circled)
The ceremony will be held on a separate date than the reception. We welcome you to join us for both.
Directions
The closest place to park is the Boston Common Parking Garage, located underneath the Boston Common and across the street
from the ceremony location. If taking public transportation, the Arlington T stop on the Green Line or Park Street stop on
the Red Line are your best bets.
Attire
You're welcome to dress appropriately for the weather, although it's Boston and we can't guarantee anything. The
bride and groom will be wearing traditional wedding attire (except for the cowboy boots), so business casual attire would
look best for the pictures.
Afterward
If you're staying in town, these are some highly rated restaurants that you might enjoy after the ceremony:
- Atlantic Fish Company - Down Boylston street. Local restaurant with fresh seafood.
- Eastern Standard - Traditionally, a pre-Sox game treat at the Hotel Commonwealth.
- No. 9 Park - Barbara Lynch's first upscale restaurant in Boston. Worth it for special occasions.
- Hamersley's Bistro - Great outdoor dining option in the South End.
- Scampo - A "more value for your money" outdoor dining spot at the Liberty Hotel.
- Toro - A fun little Spanish tapas place in the South End
- Mooo - A highly rated steakhouse near the Public Garden, in the XV Beacon Hotel
- Mike's Pastry - We always stop here for dessert whenever we get the chance. It's in the North End so you can't go wrong with any restaurant nearby.
Receptions
In order to accommodate our friends and family in New England and Texas, we will be having two receptions in the weeks and months following the ceremony. Feel free to attend one or both!New England
The New England reception will be held on September 7, 2012 at the Foxboro V at 337 Cocasset St, Foxborough, MA, 02035 and will begin at 7 pm. The reception will include food, dancing, lots of laughs and love.
We ask that the reception remain adult only, so we can let loose a bit.
Texas
The Texas reception will be held on March 24th, 2013 at the Zilker Park Clubhouse near downtown Austin at 7 pm. BBQ, beer and a view of the Austin skyline will be served.
